About Me

Hi, there! Welcome to my website. My name is Rhonda Stringer. I am teaching Reading Recovery and Leveled Literacy Intervention (L.L.I.) full time this year. This is my twenty-second year to teach. I have taught first grade for 20 years, and I have one year teaching experience in kindergarten. I received my Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Houston at Clear Lake, and completed my internship at Deer Park Elementary in second grade.

I enjoy my summers visiting other places, near and far. My favorite thing to do on vacation is snorkeling. I really enjoy site-seeing and learning about different cultures. One summer we visited two national parks and one state park, and I love to take pictures! In the winter we love to ski! At home I enjoy cooking, spending time with family, and going to the Astros' games!
