Biography

I earned my Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a Teaching Certificate EC-4 from UH-Clear Lake Campus and have added on English Second Language certification and Special Education certification.  Through Deer Park ISD, I have earned professional developement credits to teach gifted and talented students.  I have received training from Neuhaus Education Center in Reading Readiness and Language Enrichment to teach reading intervention and Basic Language Skills to teach Dyslexia students. I have been teaching at Parkwood Elementary since 2006. 

I am married with 3 adult children and 6 grandchildren. I love animals and have a few as classroom pets.

I was born and raised on the North Shore of Oahu and visit each year to the Island to spend time with my family.  

Since I was a little girl I dreamed of becoming a teacher, so I believe I'm living my best life!
