Biography

I was born and raised in Brownsville TX/Matamoros, Mexico area.  I grew up in an environment where speaking two languages at the same time was common.  I graduated from UPTA in Edinburg, TX with a B.S. in Communication disorders in 2009.  My first 3 years in the professional field I worked in outpatient clinics helping children with speech problems in the Rio Grande Valley area.  Later on in 2012 I moved to San Antonio, TX where I worked at a pediatric home health agency providing speech therapy in the area.  Then, in 2014 I moved to Houston, TX for a job offer to work at another pediatric home health agency providing bilingual speech therapy.  Finally, in August 2019 I was offered an opportunity to work for Deer Park school district providing speech therapy  to the students of Parkwood Elementary.
